Vintage: Pulley Lamp with Jars, until we wanted to build a zip line in our backyard.

Our neighbor gave me this huge old pulley to use, but in the end we decided on a smaller one. Since then I had it stored in the basement. I knew I wanted to do something with it one day, I just didn't know exactly what!

#1: You will need

• Old or new pulley (can be purchased at any hardware store, I would paint it with a dark rusty finish)
• Magnetic crystals
• Tea lights
• Glass jars
• Handmade silver wire
• 2 hooks (to fix to the ceiling)

#2: Connect the cables to the ceiling

• Attach two long cables (mine are about 1.20 meters) to the pulley, opposite each other.
• Measure the distance of the cables and transfer that measurement to your seal.
• Drill the holes and screw in the hooks.
• Attach the wires to the hooks to hang the lamp. (Sorry guys for the blurry image)

#3: Attach the jars

• Use more cable to secure your jars to the pulley.

#4: Attach crystals

• To decorate a little with magnetic crystals. Attach them to the pulley. You can buy them at the hardware store.

#5: Tea lights

• Add tea lights to the jars. You can fill the jars halfway with water and add a candle.

#6: Enjoy
