Renew the floor of your home by implementing underfloor heating. To carry out this project, you first need a DITRA-HEAT carpet from Schluter. This product not only provides us with the stem structure that will accept the thermal cable, but it is a waterproofing membrane and has a decoupling function, as you can also purchase other types of thermal mats that exist.
The feature of this mat is the decoupling of the mat which allows the tile and the floor to move independently, thus reducing the chances of cracking. Schulter has a great set of instructions that will go into much more detail, however, I'm going to take a quick look at how the project went.
Procedure:
#1. Placing the mat
Adhere the mat to the floor with thin mortar. Mix it with water until you get a consistency that is dripping but still contains a trowel indentation.

Spread the thin set with a 1/4" x 1/4" (6mm x 6mm) square notch trowel making sure you have complete coverage under the mat.

Roll the mat into place and press down firmly. Then peel off a section of the rug to make sure the thinner has completely soaked into the wool on the back of the rug.

#2. Installing the heating element
Before you start doing this, there are a bunch of tests you are supposed to do to verify that the heating element is working as it should. All of that information is in the Schluter manual and it's very boring, so I'm going to skip those details in this article. If you do it yourself, I recommend following Schluter's manual.
Installing the heat cable into the mat is quite simple. Simply press it between the studs with a piece of wood or a tile float, spacing the wire with 3 separate studs.

We also need to install the thermostat sensors. They give you two to install just in case one starts to malfunction, you can switch to the other without having to replace the floor to put in a new sensor. It's not a bad idea.

The end of the heating element and the sensors that connect to the thermostat must pass through the inside of the wall to the location of the wall thermostat electrical box. Some areas require a conduit by code.
#3. Placing the tile
To set the tile, first mix some unmodified thin set mortar and fill between the studs by pushing it into the mat and running a towel over the top until the mat is filled with a thin layer. Next, dry layout your first row with spacers to see how to cut the end tiles to center the row within the room.

Now extend the thin set with a trowel sized appropriately for your tile.
3/16" to 1/4" V-notch = mosaic tiles
1/4" x 1/4" square notch = 4" to 8" tile
1/4" x 3/8" square notch = 8" to 16" tile
1/2" x 1/2" Square Notch = 16" and larger

When laying the tile, it may be necessary to re-butter the tile to ensure good coverage. You can check this by lifting a tile after you set it and checking the bottom to see how thin it actually makes contact with the bottom of the tile. Also be sure to use spacers for even spacing and make sure the corners and edges of the tiles are level with adjacent tiles.

#4. Grouting
Mix the appropriate grout for your tile gaps with a good consistency.
Gluter = gaps <1/8 »
Unsanded grout = 1/8″ < gaps < 3/8″ Fine sand grout
= 3/8″ < gaps

Then spread the grout into the joints with a tile float.

Remove any excess grout and wipe with a clean, damp sponge. Use a bucket of water to clean the sponge after every few steps or else you will end up with streaks.

#5. Installing the thermostat
You will need power to the thermostat, so if you don't know how to do this, consult an electrician. With power on the box (switch off), connect your power, sensor, and heating element to the thermostat according to the instructions and install it in the electrical box. Turn on the camera, set the temperature of your floor and enjoy!
