Project: learn how to install a garden treillage, it is a very good solution, especially if in the long run we want a vine to grow through it. But we must consider the supports that support it, if we do not have them the work can be complicated. It is a moderately difficult task, but if done correctly you can install these trellises anywhere in the patio or garden, even as a decorative element.

What is a treillage?
The treillage is a wooden or plastic lattice structure that has a decorative function, blocking views and/or as a dividing fence. It can be fixed to a wall or installed with pillars. The wooden ones can be painted or varnished and are an excellent support for vines to grow.
1 make a hole

- In the place where you want to install the treillage, dig 1 20x20 hole 50 cm deep.
- This will be the first chicken to support the pillars for treillage.
2 Protect beam
- The pillar that has been chosen (spindle, pine board or beam) must be protected.
- At the base and in the first 50 cm, apply an asphalt protector.

3 bury pillar

- Stop the pillar in the hole and pour the mortar.
- It is filled with the mortar until it is flush with the ground surface.

Tips:
The mortar is poured into the hole and must be stirred with a shovel or stick so that it enters all the corners. This will also eliminate air bubbles that can reduce the firmness and stability of the pillar.
4 level pillar
- Using the spirit level make sure that the pillar is straight.
- Screw some diagonal strips to the pillar to fix them in the level position and prevent them from moving while the mortar dries.

5 second hole
- Measure from the pillar that is already installed the length of the treillage (2 m) and dig a second hole, also measuring 20x20x50 cm.
- In this hole we will make the chicken for the other pillar that will hold the treillage.

6 distance between pillars
- Put the second pillar in the hole (but without mortar).
- Fix a strip or broomstick between the 2 pillars that measures the exact distance you want between pillars (2 m).

7 level second pillar
Level column with the same procedure carried out on the first beam.

8 pour mortar
- Once it is certain that the pillar is well leveled, the mortar is poured into the hole.

9 paint treillage
- Give color and protect the wooden treillage.
- A good option is to do it with a gun and compressor since you can reach all the corners and joints.

10 set treillage
- Once the paint is dry you can attach the treillage to the pillars.
- The treillage frame is screwed to the wooden pillars.
