And, it works for them but some people refused to take this BS. They have decided to put such people in their place. An engineer has shared his story on Reddit. He used to work for a company that makes manufacturing units and he knew how to maintain and install units. OP left the company and joined a new one. An old client had his number and contacted him to install a unit. OP told him that he does not work there anymore. So, this person goes like “I will pay you two times more if you do this for me and that the company has increased its rate and he can not afford it” OP said “yes” to his offer and went to install his unit.
