Fantasy Designs for Wooden Stairs by French artist Ora Ïto, crafted and arranged more than 400 oak slats to create unique wooden stairs.

Ïto was tasked with the job of designing the offices for LVMN's media division and had the original idea of creating wooden stairs.

The oak wood stairs that have exactly 429 slats wind through the four floors of the building. The slats that start at the bottom of the staircase form the handrails on both sides.

The unique look of wooden stairs is detailed by the curved edges of the slats.

There is also a semicircular frame on the inside of the wooden slats that forms a corner for the steel railing. There where LED lights are mounted that discreetly illuminate the bottom of the stairs.

A large hidden steel beam is intended to support the slats which are made from a mix of materials to make them as light as possible.

The wooden staircase by designer Ora Ïto is located on one side of the building and is illuminated by a glass wall and ceiling lights that put an accent on this detail of the interior.

The French designer has also designed other surrounding areas within the same project.

Another work of his is the reception desk on the entrance floor, which is also made of wood.

It looks like a mythical animal lying on the ground waiting for visitors to swallow them and take them to another dimension.

The setting of the staircase and the other wooden details is more of a minimalist style.

The designer himself explains that “The offices are intentionally minimalist, calm and functional without extraneous decoration.”

Ora ïto has not limited himself to studying or working in just one area of the industry. On the contrary, the designer has gone from the telephone to architecture, from furniture to the hotel industry.
