Patatas Bravas are a traditional Spanish appetizer and a true symbol of outdoor dining and the country's culinary culture. While it's true that in their traditional version they are fried in plenty of oil, with the Cosori Turbo Blaze we can avoid this inconvenience with equally delicious results and much less hassle in the kitchen, since we'll be preparing both the brava sauce and the potatoes in the Cosori Turbo Blaze.
For this recipe, we'll be using the Cosori Turbo Blaze air fryer, which allows us to cook with a minimal amount of oil, achieving optimal results in very little time. Thanks to its DC motor, which is not only quiet but also 46% faster than traditional air fryers, it reduces oil usage by 96%. You can get it here at a promotional price.
Furthermore, the Cosori Turbo Blaze's air circulation technology ensures even cooking, resulting in crispy, golden brown all around without the need to turn the food . This achieves a texture similar to traditional frying, in the simplest way possible and with minimal oil.
The compact design of this air fryer, combined with its large 6-liter capacity, 5 adjustable fan speeds, various cooking modes, and precise temperature control, makes it an essential kitchen appliance. With it, you can fry and roast all kinds of food and even bake delicious desserts. And that's not all; the high-end glass touch panel and elegant design will add a touch of sophistication to your kitchen.

The secret to perfect fries with the Cosori Turbo Blaze is to avoid overcrowding the basket. This ensures even browning and a deliciously crispy result . Furthermore, to ensure the small amount of oil needed is evenly distributed, we'll use spray oil. This way, the fries will be coated with a very thin layer of oil, giving them that irresistible fried and crispy finish characteristic of traditional fries. With these tips and the high performance of this great air fryer, you'll achieve excellent results.

The great thing about this recipe is that, in addition to the potatoes, we're going to make the brava sauce in the Cosori Turbo Blaze with incredible results , since we'll be roasting the vegetables used to prepare the sauce right in the air fryer . This way of making brava sauce is not only more practical and simple, but it will also provide a delicious flavor thanks to the golden touch that the Cosori Turbo Blaze achieves.
With the Cosori Turbo Blaze air fryer, you can enjoy delicious patatas bravas with a golden and crispy exterior, without losing any of their original flavor or texture. Perfect for a casual dinner, a get-together with friends, or as a side dish for any meal.

How to make patatas bravas in a Cosori Turbo Blaze air fryer
We begin by placing 2 halved plum tomatoes, 3 cloves of garlic, and 1 chili pepper or hot pepper in the basket of our Cosori Turbo Blaze air fryer. We lightly spray it with olive oil.

We programmed the Cosori Turbo Blaze for 20 minutes at 190ºC.

After 10 minutes, remove the garlic and let the tomatoes and chili pepper cook for the remaining time.

After the other 10 minutes have passed, remove the tomato and chili pepper from the basket, as they will now be perfectly cooked.

We blend the tomatoes with the chili pepper and garlic until we get a very smooth sauce. We add salt to taste, a pinch of sweet paprika, and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, and set the brava sauce aside while we prepare the potatoes.

We peel 2 medium potatoes, wash them, dry them very well with kitchen paper or a clean cotton cloth and cut them into more or less regular cubes.

We pour the chopped potatoes into the basket of the Cosori Turbo Blaze air fryer, spreading them out as much as possible without them piling up. We spray the potatoes with olive oil.

We programmed the Cosori Turbo Blaze air fryer to 205°C for 15 minutes. Although this air fryer can produce perfectly cooked fries in just 12 minutes, keep in mind that patatas bravas are cut a bit thicker than traditional fries, which is why we need to fry them for 15 minutes. In any case, thanks to the Cosori Turbo Blaze's 360° technology, we won't need to shake the potatoes halfway through cooking, as is usually necessary with conventional air fryers.

After 15 minutes of cooking, we will get perfectly golden and crispy potatoes.

Remove the potatoes from the basket and place them on the plate or in the bowl in which you will serve them. Add salt to taste.

We coat the potatoes with the brava sauce and serve them immediately before they cool down. Optionally, we can serve them with aioli sauce, a common accompaniment to patatas bravas in Mediterranean regions.
