Build your Own Pool in a Simple and Low-Cost Way, there is a cheaper alternative to making a pool for your backyard.
Step 1: Find the perfect place
If you can make sure you place the pool in an area that is not shady and not very windy, it makes a big difference when you use it later. Find the best spot on your property before you start digging.
Next, mark the area with paint. Mark the pool and also the space around it if you are willing to build a concrete pad, of course...
Step 2: Get the right equipment

You will need some earth moving equipment to finish the job properly. Mini excavators and wheel loaders will help you dig your hole and move dirt away from the pool site. Before digging the hole, remove grass and topsoil with a skid loader or flat shovels.
Step 3: Dig, dig and dig some more

Measurements used:
- Excavation hole size: 2m deep x 9m long x 5m wide
- Finished pool size: 1.6m x 8m x 4m
Approximate right angles using ropes and pegs. It will square up later when we install reinforced mesh.
Step 4: Form the pool

Fill the bottom with gravel to level the base.
Drop steel reinforcement into the base to give strength and flexibility to the concrete base. The mesh should be raised on small concrete pillars to ensure that it is in the middle of the poured concrete. Our base ended up 10 to 12 inches thick. Only 8 inches are required.
You will need to add drains for the filtration system. Two drains are required to prevent someone from being sucked down a single drain; the second drain provides a suction release.
Press it to check for leaks at the joints before pouring the base.
Step 5: Fill it with concrete

Concrete must have a specific water content to give the correct strength. For it to flow, we had to add more water: To have 5 years of water in the pool and without leaks.
The drains are covered with pieces of wood cut to size and silicone to prevent concrete from entering the pipe system.
Step 6: Add Concrete Blocks to Your Wall

Start adding blocks to build the wall. Between each layer of blocks, horizontal reinforcement of steel rod was added to provide lateral strength to the walls. Fill behind the wall with gravel to allow some expansion of the surrounding soil. Leave a block for the filter and make holes for the jet discharge pipe.
Fill the blocks with concrete to a specific mix. The reinforcing rods found in the center of the blocks have been extended connecting a straight length. You can avoid this, but then each block has to be raised to the height of the pool.
Step 7: Final Touches

A 10 mm thick (approx) coating was added. Close the sections and then plaster between the battens. The sides and the base. The white fluid is the waterproofing.
A drain has a one-way valve to allow groundwater to escape into the pool when the pool is empty to equalize the pressure. Concrete block placed on top to prevent groundwater from entering while processing. The drainage pipes were outlined when theconcrete base to allow waste to flow into suctions
Step 8: Add the paint

Painted with chlorinated rubber paint. It lasts about 2/3 years and then starts to bubble.
Step 9: Install the filters and pump

Install the filters and pump somewhere preferably out of sight. Add a trip switch for safety.
Step 10: Fill the pool

Add chemicals to ensure your new pool doesn't attract bugs and algae growth. Greetings!
