Learn how to cover a wall with decorative brick, coatings allow us to change the appearance of a room in an easy, quick and clean way.
And, that is precisely what we are going to do, next. We will cover the front wall of a room, using a flexible and very versatile material that perfectly imitates brick.

These are panels made of resin and fiberglass, which reproduce brick with great realism. They adapt to any type of surface and are suitable for both indoors and outdoors. In DIY stores we will find this material in different finishes: wood, bricks, stones
Materials:
- Decorative panels
- 6 X 70 mm impact plugs
- Putty
- Painting
Step 1
The first thing we will have to do is mark the position of the socket outlets on the panels, to make some holes and clear them.

Step 2
With the drill and a hole saw of a suitable diameter, we make the holes.

Step 3
We present the first piece on the wall, level it and drill the fixing points, both on the panel and on the wall. To carry out this task, we will use the drill provided with a widia drill bit of the same diameter as the plugs we are going to use.

Step 4
Next, we fasten the panel to the wall with some impact plugs that we will insert with a hammer.

Step 5
The next step is to cut the second panel to size. We mark and cut the piece, using the circular saw and a wood disc. It is advisable to use a very straight strip as a ruler, in order to obtain a perfect cut.

Step 6
We place the piece on the wall, next to the previous panel, and fix it with the impact plugs.

Step 7
In the same way, we adapt the upper pieces to the space we have left and secure them to the wall with impact plugs.

Step 8
We are now going to cover the joints with a dough that the kit itself includes. We mix the product with a catalyst, so that the putty dries faster.

Step 9
Once we have achieved a homogeneous mixture, we apply the dough to the joints with the help of a trowel. If you do not have this tool, you can do the job with a small spatula.

Step 10
When the product has dried, we put on latex gloves and apply a layer of paint using a trowel

Step 11
Next, we tap the sponge a few times to obtain a texture similar to the rest of the panel.

Step 12
And, to finish the job we will apply a spray paint of the same tone as the previous enamel, maintaining a distance of about 20-25 cm from the wall.

Finally, we wait for the paint to dry. You see how quickly and easily we have coated a surface, achieving an excellent result. By following the guidelines we have given you, you can do it too.
