How to install a laminate floor in a short time and in a practical way, your living room will look like new with the finish that a laminate floor will give it.

Procedure:
Recommendations
Before installing the floor, you must rectify the space to know how many m2 of floor, leveling foam and dust covers are needed. More information in the project How to calculate laminate flooring? Each box has a performance of 3.19 m2.
It is important that the surface is as level as possible, up to 3mm unevenness is allowed. The manufacturer advises leaving the floor 48 hours beforehand in the space or room where it will be installed so that it acclimatizes to the conditions of the place.
#1. Level the floor
If the floor is old and has carpet or other covering, it must be removed and the radiator exposed. It must be leveled by first applying an adhesion promoter and then leveling it with a floor leveler.

#2. Clean the floor
Vacuum the room to eliminate any stones or details that could alter the final result.

#3. Place the foam
Before installing the floor, sufficient barriers against humidity, noise and leveling must be ensured. For this you can use a polyethylene sleeve and a leveling foam.
Another alternative is to put a 3-in-1 barrier that is a leveling foam, moisture and noise insulator. It is placed throughout the room, leaving a tab on the walls that is ultimately cut with a cardboard knife. In addition, this foam has a double contact tape to be able to overlap and glue each of the rows.

#4. Define the installation pattern
- Each box comes with 18 pieces with a length of 1.2 m, with 3 different widths of 19.6 – 14.7 – 9.4 cm, as well as different designs that give an aged and vintage finish, which is why it is important to put together an installation pattern so that the different pieces are well distributed in the room and a harmonious whole is seen.
- The pattern must be assembled considering that each row must have the joints overlapping with respect to the previous one, for this the same overlaps are maintained every other row.
- You have to consider that to find the length of the row you have to cut a piece of the piece. This piece will be used at the beginning of the row (with the same pattern) that follows.

#5. Install the tables
This laminate floor has an assembly system that includes an overlap to prevent the planks from separating with use.
The rows are always assembled to the left; lifting the plank diagonally and then lowering it.
To make this connection you must use the installation kit.

#6. Make the cuts
The cuts are made with a miter saw. The pieces are cut as the rows progress, never before, since they must be precise and measure the spaces. It is cut with the board facing down so that the design or texture is not damaged.

Measure the length of the walls where the dust covers will be installed. Cut the dust covers with a miter saw, always with their ends at 45º so that they coincide in the corners, and the joint is hidden. To cut at 45º with the miter saw, you must move the base of the disc to the angle indicated on the tools.
#8. Glue the dust covers
Using the cardboard knife or sharp scissors, cut the excess leveling foam that was left on the boards.
Once all the pieces that will form theDust cover of the room is glued with mounting adhesive, applied with a caulking gun in uniform beads. Leave the dust cover pressed against the wall for a few minutes, tap gently with the mallet.
