Stress really can break a person down.

Breakdowns don’t happen every other day. It is a result of a lot of stress accumulating within a person until their saturation point is reached and there is no other way to survive it but to let it all out. Stress has been consuming a lot of people and relationships in recent times.

In recent times, Reddit user sayejav shared in the sacred community of Am I The A**hole shared how much stress had been getting to him and he wasn’t too far away from his breaking point. OP has a family of two kids, and a beautiful wife to help cope with stress but recently he had been feeling extremely tired and stressed thanks to so many deadlines to complete at the office, and the second factor adding to his exhaustion was his stay-at-home-mom wife who hadn’t been feeling too well.

OP had been advised to take a week off from work, that’s how badly he needed the rest and when one day his wife woke him up in the middle of the night to help with the kids, things turned upside down, OP reached his saturation point and had a breakdown, resulting in him to start yelling at his wife. Well, this is lowkey sad. I feel for the husband. But I also want to ask him that is getting all stressed out at work really worth it. I hope he gets a heavy-duty bonus after this project gets delivered because after reading this story, it fully sounds like he worked his butt off on it for the last 6 months. The weakness had reached the point that he couldn’t even walk. I personally think the request he made to his wife to give him a day off was totally valid. His doctor said he had to take a week off but OP only asked for a full day worth of rest. And he promised her the same in exchange as well. After the agreement, she still decided to wake him up the very next day at 6:30 in the morning. That is not nice, woman.
