- Self-adhesive sheet
- 2 Inch 18 Gauge Brad Nails

- 3-inch washer head screws (for mounting)

- Tools: Miter Saw, Table Saw, Nail Gun, Clamps,
- Drill, Box Knife / X-Acto Knife.
Procedure
Step 1: Rip the 1×4
Rip the 1×4 board to 2-7/8 in. for the sides and front of the shelf. This will give you a tolerance of approximately 1/8 in. Stop the build drawer section and it will slide out nicely.
Step 2: Cut the plywood to size
The 1/4 inch cut in the plywood for the table is for (1) 11 and 1/4 x 22 and 3/8 for the drawer and (2) 12 x 24 for the shelf. (measurements are inches) Cross section of the 1×3 and 1×4 boards
Make a crosscut in the pine boards to the size of the previous cut, on the miter saw. Be sure to check your measurements!
Step 3: Assemble the drawer
Attach the drawer with glue and 2-inch 18-gauge nails, using a nail gun.

Assemble the shelf with glue and nails just like the drawers.
Step 5: Cut the sheet metal for the drawers
Just cut the sheet metal that will cover the drawer, use a blade for this.
Step 6: Apply the veneer and cut to size
Paste onto the veneer and cut along the edges of the drawer with a utility knife to the correct size. Lightly sand the corners and edges with high-grit sandpaper to match the veneer.
