Transform Beer Bottles into Furniture, if you like using tables and drinking beer (not necessarily at the same time), this beer bottle table is going to rock your world.
The final product not only looks great, but if made correctly, will last for years and can hold over 200 pounds.
Step 1: Collect the materials

Materials needed:
- Enough empty bottles of your favorite color to make your desired size table (I used 27 bottles)
- Strong glue or epoxy
- Flat surface to make a good level base
- Wood (I used an 18″ diameter piece of wood)
- A sink with running water and a stopper
- Christmas lights
Step 2: Build the base

Now comes the time when you have to decide what you want your table to be like. Now would be an opportune time to rinse your bottles in the aforementioned sink to remove any labels if desired. Keeping the labels on looks nice, but if you want your table to light up (more on this later), the labels can get in the way.
Start by placing the bottles designated for the base the way you would like them to be arranged in the end. Begin construction by applying a generous amount of adhesive to one bottle and press against a second bottle so the bottom is smooth and flat. Continue assembling the base any way you want, but keep in mind that after the first two bottles are together, you'll need to continually check that their joints are where they should be. You don't want to finish a row of bottles to find that your straight line has become an 'S'. Let the foundation dry before moving on to the next step.
Step 3: Second level

After the base has had time to dry, it's time to decide what you want the second level to be and go up to make it look like you haven't already done it. The second level will be assembled the same as the base, except that once completed it will be placed upside down, so that the necks of the base interlock with those of the second level. Feel free to choose a different size or design for this level, but make sure the result fits the base correctly. Changing colors or brands of beer is also clever.
Place your loose bottles on the base to know if your concept will work before you put it together. Once you've tried it, start attaching the bottles on your flat surface like you did with the base. After this tier is clean and dry, turn it upside down and place it on the base. It is not necessary to join the two pieces together as it should be very stable and being able to separate these heavy parts makes it much easier to move long distances.
At this point, you could use some sort of spinning top on the second level and make a pretty sweet stool, but we're here to make planks, so let's move on to step four...
Step 4: More levels and the top

The third level is oriented the same way as the base, but since it does not interlock with a lower level, it will need to be glued to the lower level. The top will need to be attached once your table has reached the proper height. If you ended up with the bottoms of the bottles in the air, you can apply some adhesive directly to them and put their tops on. However, if the necks are in the air, you may want to replace the bottle caps on them so you have more area to apply the glue.
When the top is applied strongly, you have technically completed a sturdy but not impressive enough board. Let's look at step five for more ideas.
Step 5: Add some style

This is where you go crazy. I tried adding Christmas lights to the bottles which looked decent but left wires everywhere. Another design by one of my friends left the center of the upper level open to let in the light. He filled the bottles with water and food coloring to make a pretty multicolored lamp.
