Scientists studied the masses of fermions, which could be transmitted into the fifth dimension through portals, creating fossils of dark matter and fermionic dark matter within the fifth dimension.

Could fermions traveling between different dimensions explain some of the dark matter scientists can't understand?

A key part of the mathematical description creates mass distributions of fermions, which manifest in so-called curved five-dimensional space.

This dark domain, in the five-dimensional universe, may be a possible explanation for the large amount of dark matter that we cannot detect today based on the standard model of physics. Now to the question of how such a form of dark matter could be detected to confirm its existence, scientists argue that this would be done with an appropriate type of gravitational wave detector.
