Chocolate fudge is an irresistible bite with a creamy, dense, and tender texture all at once. This recipe offers a super easy way to make it at home with just three ingredients and a surprising result.

Traditional fudge is made by heating sugar with milk—a little more than half as much milk as sugar—and a pinch of salt until it reaches a soft-ball syrup stage. At that point, butter and vanilla are added on top, and it is left to cool without stirring. After an hour of resting, it is beaten vigorously until it loses its shine and then poured into a mold to cool before cutting into cubes. This is a very delicate and laborious process. For this reason, easy and quick homemade fudge, like the one in this recipe, has become so popular because it turns out delicious and very impressive. This is, therefore, an adapted version suitable for any home baking enthusiast.

Chocolate fudge keeps perfectly at room temperature for a week, though if you want to keep it longer, you can freeze it so you always have a sweet treat on hand—just let it thaw at room temperature. This homemade bite is ideal to accompany tea or coffee for a special snack.
Ingredients for Chocolate Fudge
Makes 36 pieces
- 500 g chocolate (chips, drops, or small pieces)
- 400 g condensed milk
- 30 g butter

How to Make Chocolate Fudge Step by Step
1. Combine the Ingredients
To make our homemade chocolate fudge, first gather in a bowl 500 g of chocolate with 400 g of condensed milk and 30 g of butter.

2. Melt the Mixture
Heat this mixture in the microwave at 800 W, in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until the chocolate melts and we can stir and homogenize the mixture as shown in the next image. You can also do this by heating the bowl over a double boiler over a saucepan of water at medium heat.

3. Pour into a Mold and Chill
Transfer the mixture to a mold lined with parchment paper, smoothing the surface, and refrigerate for 4-5 hours until firm.

4. Cut into Pieces
Once cold, remove the fudge from the refrigerator, unmold it, and divide it into similar pieces. In our case, we got 36 pieces. To get perfect same-sized cubes, you can trim the edges, though we used the entire mold since we don't mind if some come out irregular.

5. Serve the Fudge
Carefully separate the fudge pieces and now you can serve and enjoy this irresistible sweet bite.
