How to Make Bacon-Wrapped Dates
Place 8 pitted dates on a tray and, if using them, place 1 almond in the cavity where the pit was in each date. This is optional, but it adds a delicious crunchy touch. If using the oven, preheat it to 180 °C (350 °F).

Secure the bacon-wrapped dates by piercing them with a toothpick.

Now it's time to cook them, and for this, we can use a skillet, the oven, or an air fryer, turning them halfway through, or even the microwave. If using a skillet, cook them over medium heat without adding oil for about 2 minutes per side until the bacon is golden, then let them drain on paper towels. If using the oven, bake them for 10-15 minutes at 180 ºC (350 ºF) until the bacon is slightly crispy. In the case of the air fryer, cook them also at 180 ºC (350 ºF), though in this case they will be ready in about 8-10 minutes. If using the microwave, wrap the dates in kitchen paper and cook them for 2 to 3 minutes on high power, extending the time in 20-second intervals if they need more cooking. Once cooked by any of these methods, serve them immediately.
